1. Payment Methods

Payments are processed securely through Eximbay, a licensed Korean payment service provider. We accept the following payment methods:

💳Visa / Mastercard
💳American Express
💳JCB
💳Union Pay (중국은련)
📱Alipay
📱WeChat Pay

Prices are displayed in your local currency (USD, EUR, JPY, CNY, etc.) based on previous day's exchange rates. All transactions are settled in KRW (Korean Won). Your card issuer may apply their own foreign exchange fee.

2. Booking Confirmation

Upon completing a booking, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. For free bookings, the confirmation serves as your reservation — no payment is taken. For deposit or full payment bookings, payment is charged at the time of booking and your confirmation email will include a receipt.

3. Cancellation & Refund Rules

Cancellation and refund terms vary by listing type and are clearly indicated on each listing page before booking. The following general rules apply:

Free Bookings

  • No payment collected — no refund needed.
  • Please cancel at least 24 hours before your reservation to avoid a no-show record.
  • Repeated no-shows may result in account suspension.

Deposit Bookings

  • More than 72 hours before: Full refund of deposit.
  • 24–72 hours before: 50% refund of deposit.
  • Less than 24 hours before / No-show: No refund. Deposit is forfeited.
  • The deposit is deducted from your final bill at the venue upon arrival.

Reserve Fee Bookings (Non-refundable)

  • The reserve fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • This fee is NOT deducted from your final bill — it is a booking reservation fee only.
  • This is clearly indicated on the listing before payment.

Full Payment Bookings

  • More than 7 days before: Full refund.
  • 3–7 days before: 50% refund.
  • Less than 3 days before / No-show: No refund.
  • Individual listing cancellation policies supersede the above — always check the listing page.

4. Vendor Cancellation

In the rare event that a vendor cancels your booking, MUGOONG will provide a full refund of any amount paid. We will notify you immediately via email and assist with rebooking where possible.

5. How to Cancel or Request a Refund

  1. Log in to your MUGOONG account and visit My Bookings.
  2. Select the booking you wish to cancel and click Cancel Booking.
  3. If you booked as a guest, email us at hello@mugoong.com with your booking confirmation number.
  4. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

Note: Processing time may vary depending on your card issuer or bank. International refunds may take longer due to currency conversion.

6. Disputes & Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us first at hello@mugoong.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving disputes quickly and fairly. Initiating an unjustified chargeback may result in account suspension. For unresolved disputes, you may contact the Korea Consumer Agency (한국소비자원) at 1372 or www.kca.go.kr.

7. Currency & Exchange Rates

All prices on MUGOONG are based in KRW (Korean Won). Displayed prices in USD, EUR, JPY, CNY, and other currencies are indicative only, calculated using the previous business day's exchange rate. The actual charged amount is in KRW. MUGOONG is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations between the time of display and the time of payment.
